This workshop explored how colleges and universities can move beyond performative inclusion efforts to intentionally create spaces where all students feel valued, supported, and connected. Bentley University’s Mosaic Experience (Pre-Orientation Program For Students of Color)
The Mosaic Experience is a pre-orientation program designed to support incoming students of color as they transition into college life at Bentley University. Through workshops, mentorship, community-building, and campus resource connections, the program helps students build confidence, belonging, and meaningful relationships before the academic year begins.
University At Albany’s Speech Composition and Presentation Course
This course focused on developing public speaking, presentation delivery, and effective communication skills in both academic and professional settings. Students learned how to craft impactful speeches, strengthen audience engagement, and communicate ideas with confidence and clarity.
Boston College’s Admitted Student of Color Day
Admitted Student of Color Day at Boston College is a program designed to welcome and connect admitted Graduate students from diverse backgrounds to the university community. The event provides opportunities for students and families to engage with faculty, staff, current students, and campus resources while exploring belonging and support systems at BC.
