Professional Background
DJ Lee currently serves within the Multicultural Center at Bentley University, where he leads and facilitates programs, workshops, trainings, and initiatives focused on emotional intelligence, identity, leadership development, belonging, and student engagement.
His work includes designing educational experiences, supporting student leadership development, facilitating conversations around identity and inclusion, and helping create spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported. Through initiatives such as the Mosaic Experience, DJ has helped students build community, strengthen leadership skills, and navigate personal growth through reflection and connection.
Prior to his work at Bentley University, DJ worked at Boston College within graduate admissions, where he supported prospective students across multiple academic programs while helping guide students through important educational and professional transitions. Across both higher education and media spaces, DJ’s work has consistently centered on communication, emotional intelligence, storytelling, leadership, and human connection.
Today, he continues to explore these themes through workshops, speaking engagements, leadership programs, podcasts, YouTube content, and media analysis focused on movies, television, anime, video games, relationships, and real-life experiences.
Education Background
DJ Lee earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a Minor in Marketing from Rhode Island College, where he developed a strong foundation in communication, storytelling, audience engagement, and human connection.
He later earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Communications from University at Albany, where his studies focused on leadership, organizational culture, interpersonal communication, and the ways people navigate relationships and identity within professional environments.
DJ also earned a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Bentley University, further strengthening his work in belonging, emotional intelligence, leadership development, and inclusive community building.
Through both his academic and professional experiences, DJ’s work has become increasingly centered on helping people better understand themselves and others through communication, emotional awareness, storytelling, and reflection.
